snow day snow day

it was in the single digits and snowing a lot

but hazel and i decided we should go play in the snow and sled

so we geared up

and headed to harvard gulch park

 we went down the hill 3 times, and then hazel wanted to play on the playground

 i seriously love this pic of her.

 that evening, her christmas present from grandma and grandpa

came early.... oh man oh man oh man

she still hasn't stopped playing with it :)

snow day 2

at Lucielle's after sledding (and skipping church)

it was coming down super crazy outside.

so we warmed up with Cuban OJ and beignets!

it snowed once, then hit hard later that week!

i took H sledding...

not sure that she really liked it.

 a couple days later...

made a fire,

set up the tent in the living room,

made choc chip cookies!

 hazel woke up in the middle of the night when i had to go to work

so cam got up with her, and the fell asleep on the couch

and the were there when i got up for work :)

we thought they were sooooo cool!!!!

especially for the snow today!!!
obviously she needed tights on, but i'm a bad mom :)

so we've had over 2 feet of snow since tuesday night.

and we're getting more as i type right now.

it's supposed to stop tonight i think. AHHH!!!

What the...

bad pic i know, but it was snowing like crazy when i woke up this morning. i mean, it's almost may people. it was so weird. now it's cloudy and a little less cold, the snow is melting, but it's still here for the most part.
