my amazing sister is a flipping rockstar.

look at what Chris and Sus created!

He is a squishable, squeezable, chunky doll baby.

I cannot wait to meet him Sunday.

 already annoyed we aren't in KS yet...

bethany & stephen's baby shower

the first week of april, bethany & stephen

came to visit/go to the mountains,

kinda as a babymoon, kinda as a break from school/work.

but... i decide to do a surprise baby shower.

i sent the invites, including one to her.

and immediately got a text that she was having a terrible day

and she got the card in the mail and started crying (good cry).

SCORE!

So, monday april 1,

we had more of a dinner party than a shower

and all our friends came!

 the food, oh the food.

it was delish!

 we had trouble figuring out where to put our hands.

oh you pregnant people...

 i froze these little babies into ice cube molds

and then put them in the water...

then once they melted, the sunk.

i think this one is trying to escape :)

pee pee in the potty

so, this is probably gross to a lot/most of you.

but i am a proud proud momma today!

hazel woke up at 7:30 and daddy put her in bed with me before he left.

i got up and was changing her diaper when she said potty.

which she says all the time, but never goes.

so i say, let me take your diaper off and you can sit on the potty.

and i get up and am getting coffee, and i hear a musical sound (which her potty makes when something (pee/poop) touches the little metal dots at the bottom).

i run in there, and sure enough, pee pee in the potty!!!!

she gets a prize (from our prize bucket of candy and dollar spot from target) basket

and refuses to wear a diaper.

it is now 12:45 and i was nervous about nap time.

she didn't want to wear a diaper, so i just put her to bed with no pants.

she was naked all morning, and had no accidents

and went pee pee 5 times!!!!

so, we will see!

easter 2013

the saturday before easter, cameron took H to easter egg hunt at the local park.

they were having a neighborhood easter egg hunt.

it just so happened that Lili and Poppy were in town for Poppy's work.

So, they got to go too!!!

How is it that we have no pics of them?

I promise they were here!

Lili made sure H looked super cute!

 on actual easter, bethany took a lot of pics in the morning,

so i will have to post those when i get them.

after church, a picnic in the park, and a nap,

H and I colored on the sidewalk with chalk from her basket

then we dyed eggs while waiting for S, B, and C to get home for dinner!

then we headed to park burger for a delish supper!
