snow day 2

at Lucielle's after sledding (and skipping church)

it was coming down super crazy outside.

so we warmed up with Cuban OJ and beignets!

it snowed once, then hit hard later that week!

i took H sledding...

not sure that she really liked it.

hazel LOVES to go for rides in the bike trailer :)

she begs for it!

so we rode down pearl street for some burgers.

it was super nice outside!

that is not part of her helmet strap strangling her, it's her headband.

aspen's 6th birthday!

It was a camping theme.

Autumn asked if i could help a little with setting up.

but it was all her idea!

it was a hit with the kids and adults!

 we set up in the garage, since it was going to be cold outside.

jason set up tarps to look like a giant tent

 "carve" a message in the tree

 smores station seen on pinterest with those butane heating things to keep food warm

 kraft paper and balloon tree

 favors

flashlights from the dollar store

 gear/presents

 hobo sticks

ended up being realllllly dangerous with the kids.

so we took them away

 it was not quite a sleep over

but a "wear your jammies and stay up late"

valentine's day

tiff watched hazel so cam and i could go out on a date!

we went to the black pearl

had amazing food

and then missed H,

so like losers, we came back after an hour or so.

i wore a black dress i got on clearance at anthro for $18 (originally like $120)

it was a size 12, but i took it in all by myself and it looked awesome!

i even wore heels!

and so it begins...

she said she wanted to.

so i got a potty, prizes, panties...

we'll see.
