oh yes folks, i take it VERY VERY seriously.

It made me who i am today, and i would like to thank:

my mom for giving birth to me

my sister for not making too much fun of me

all my fans

and most of all, all the band members who voted for me.

*yeah, not so much, whole post very sarcastic, and I am making fun of myself

i made it

we went to a labor day party at someone's house, and we had to bring a side item. so i thought, what can i make FAST and easy? well, i had all these tomatoes from my garden, and all this basil too, so all i needed was some mozarella! so i put this all together, and they were so yummy and went so fast at the party!

we're crazy

we decided to do something really crazy.

it was a full moon friday night. and really clear.

soooo...we hiked a fourteener.

in the middle of the night.

we left denver at midnight,

and started climbing at 3:30am.

so we didn't sleep at all.

it was sooooooo cold!

probably in the teens.

but we made it to see the sunrise!

my dear friend katie got engaged 1.5 weeks ago

Colorado Trail

Tuesday we went backpacking on the Colorado Trail

it was kinda spontaneous (for me)

b/c we decided last week that we'd go!

it's like an hour drive south on 285

when we got there it was already upper 50's/low 60's

we stopped at this little thing and it was like a teepee house structure thing

i was so scared.

we saw this awesome camp site after hiking about 1.5 hours

so we totally stopped and snagged it.

it was PERFECT!

i think i am gonna have my birthday there...

bring some people and some wine

and have a fire, it will be perfect!

(we may have to snow shoe in though)

i don't know if she was sharpening her teeth or what, maybe she was eating this stick, but it was cracking me up... so i took a few photos.

we were getting in the tent to read because it was cold and rainy... so we tucked schnooze in the end up my bag... we she looked up at me and her beard was totally flattened... you can't really tell in this pic, but we were laughing soooo hard!
