easter 2013

the saturday before easter, cameron took H to easter egg hunt at the local park.
they were having a neighborhood easter egg hunt.
it just so happened that Lili and Poppy were in town for Poppy's work.
So, they got to go too!!!
How is it that we have no pics of them?
I promise they were here!
Lili made sure H looked super cute!

on actual easter, bethany took a lot of pics in the morning,
so i will have to post those when i get them.
after church, a picnic in the park, and a nap,
H and I colored on the sidewalk with chalk from her basket
then we dyed eggs while waiting for S, B, and C to get home for dinner!
then we headed to park burger for a delish supper!

 waving at the cars

climbing over the rocks to smell the flowers

she kept cracking the eggs like she sees me do when we cook :)
 self portraits

i actually loveeee this one, boogers and all

lots of things this week

yesterday for dinner i made homemade pear/goatcheese pizza!!!

this was the "before" it went into the oven
i also have a new trick from julie,
i dont like hardboled eggs, but if you use a cheese grater,
grate them up, then put them on a salad,
you can kinda taste em but not really,
and still get all the protein.
so i grated these, then put them on a salad!

SUNDAY NIGHT

we dyed eggs at fellowship group
i thought this pic of me was funny, i look confused

the boys were downstairs
from top clockwise
jessica, mandi, shellie, rose, liz, & bethany

guess who made this one :)

it's schnooze :)

our 35 eggs :)

i tried and tried to take pics of the rash for you all,
but this was the best shot i got.
little red itchy bumps.
benadryl spray has helped, and i feel like it may be getting a bit better, but i still itch.
this pic is my knee by the way.

Homemade Peanut Butter

1. buy large can peanuts at Costco
2. have loacl honey from store
3. need food processor or good blender
4. we used olive oil for our oil
1. put peanuts in thingy
2. add in honey
3. start to blend, adding in oil as it goes
4. scrape the sides
5. keep blending to the consistency you want

recycle your old PB jar :)
our PB is kinda chunky... i was too lazy to make it any smoother

FOR BETHANY

for bethany's bday, i made her this journal thingy.
i let her pick the fabric out from our local fabric store
and then i just made it.
i kinda copied sus's idea of her journal.

Cam gave me an IQ test, he has to give several for school
so he can learn how to give them

do you want THIS guy giving you an IQ test?

THE briefcase....
it's worth $1800 if he loses it...
-
anyway, the IQ test was cool, i was just above average
except my processing speed was in the 98th%
so that was really good!!!!!
my math (lane you'll be proud) was soooooo good!
you have 60-120seconds to answer the math q's
and i was answering them in 1 second!!!!
