i made these cute little rain drop bunting things

 and i love them on the umbrella

 homemade marshmallows for favors

 i made and hung these guys

 we gave the momma to be freezer meals

love it!

 i made these clouds for hazels bday

but then kirst added the rain drops

my amazing sister is a flipping rockstar.

look at what Chris and Sus created!

He is a squishable, squeezable, chunky doll baby.

I cannot wait to meet him Sunday.

 i am already going to have to ground you...

 already annoyed we aren't in KS yet...

bethany & stephen's baby shower

the first week of april, bethany & stephen

came to visit/go to the mountains,

kinda as a babymoon, kinda as a break from school/work.

but... i decide to do a surprise baby shower.

i sent the invites, including one to her.

and immediately got a text that she was having a terrible day

and she got the card in the mail and started crying (good cry).

SCORE!

So, monday april 1,

we had more of a dinner party than a shower

and all our friends came!

 the food, oh the food.

it was delish!

 we had trouble figuring out where to put our hands.

oh you pregnant people...

 i froze these little babies into ice cube molds

and then put them in the water...

then once they melted, the sunk.

i think this one is trying to escape :)

lawrence, ks

we headed to Lawrence, hoping H would sleep most of the time,

and she did!!! We only had 1 melt down, and it was easily remedied!

we made it there, and unloaded.

we then went to alyson's house to chill out,

then headed to eat sushi for dinner.

we rented a movie, only to remember once we were home,

that chris had the computer... BOO!

In the morning we headed to the grocery store,

then to brenda's house for a midwife appt

then to anna's house to see the animals and get more milk for sus!

just as we walked back there, we noticed

the mama sheep had just given birth to 3 baby lambs!!!!

one that was a week old was having to be bottle fed.

Friday we made mozzarella

 Candace and Arthur came over to help!

 eating my fav. olive bread

 then, candace helped sus make the cake for the shower.

 yup.

 the shower was saturday.

it was fabulous!

minus the thunderstorm/torrential downpour.

 the food was amazing!
