so, one of the patterns momma got me was the ice cream dress by oliver and s.

I love it so much and want to make it in every fabric!

it's super easy and super cute!

so we're famous!

we went to FT to get something... don't know what...

and she was wearing her dress,

i mentioned casually gave many overt hints that they should take a pic of her

AND THEY DID!!  they even said they were gonna ask me before i said anything!

*i didn't plan to match her at all*

*I also hadn't taken a shower in a couple day*

*but the better pic was with me and hazel together*

shorts a sewing

While Mom was here, I enlisted her help on a sewing project.

First, we went to Fancy Tiger, and it was her treat!

We got several patterns and fabric.

And the most amazing Liberty of London buttons.

Here are the shorts (it comes with a pattern for the top too)

and here is the finished project!

i followed this tutorial

and it was so super easy.

i got the home depot guys to cut the lumber

and the i drilled the holes and sewed the fabric.

fabric is from the goodwill outlet, less than $1

lumber cost less than $10

and the designer (forgot who)

was having a butterfly theme for this season

so litte did i know,

these are all catapillers :)

 which made me love it even more!!!!
