this was a couple weeks ago

a doc at my work has a crawfish boil every year

and we were invited!

it was my first time to have crawfish!

everything was soooo spicy it was crazy, but good.

unfortnately they had these amazing mango rum margaritas to cool your mouth down...

lauren and i walked down to u/s and had the girls take a peek :)

it's still a girl (yesssss)

and she's moving like crazy.

and my abdominal muscles have split in the middle (normal)

and i do not have an umbilical hernia (like i thought it did)

and she's perfect

so these videos of the u/s are better, b/c they are vaginal u/s. also taken by the lovely ladies at work. thanks to them :)!!!!! yes, i sound like an idiot in them, but i don't care. at least i'm not bawling my eyes out like the first video :)

gilbert's christmas

kids can't articulate at times

so, when we were in oklahoma,

we hung out with Lo and Brad friday.

we were eating ice cream, but ben wanted to sit in the

"pete chair" and eat the ice cream by himself.

he couldn't get over wanting to SIT.

but sometimes, kids can't really articulate very well...

and let's just say sit came out totally different for us...

the yard, a process

we started saturday morning out at 0600.

we had to go rent a tiller at home depot, and the guy said

they go super fast this time of year...

don't worry, when we got there, there were PLENTY.

so we got breakfast, and waited to till until 0730

so our neighbors weren't too mad.

it was kinda chilly, but cam was working up a sweat!

this little daisy like thing closes up at night, and opens in the day!

cleaning off the tiller, DONE at 1000!!!

a little flower bed area i created, and planted some flower seeds in :)

i will post pics of the bricks i got for free and lined around the bed in later!

i also made a border around where the garden will be!!!

it looks really cool!

then we went to a wor bbq down the street,

then left for a few hours to eat with chris and emily crowder

from oklahoma, they were on their way thru going to vail!

then back to the bbq!
