my poor sis and bro

My sis and bro got called at 11:30pm saturday night from the alarm company (they were house sitting in edmond) that their alarm was going off and they had sent the police. So sus and chris drove the 30 min to okc, and walked up to this:

The 18 year old girl and her boyfriend that live next door got in a humongo fight and were most likely wayyyy drunk, and someone peeled out car spun around and did a 180 and backed thru sus and chris's garage door and hit their wall, then went back thru the garage door, causing it to look like this. if you go back up to the "back wall of garage pic" you will see a red pole leaning there. well, don't worry folks, that was the pole holing up the second floor (all three bedrooms and a bathroom). so pretty much the house is not structurally sound, and they have to move out asap. which sucks 100 times over. I will not get into the details of why it sucks, but it just does. praise the lord they weren't home or worse, in the garage doing laundry. the only worldly posessions mangled were their bikes... which sucks too.... don't know how long it will take to get money to fix them to get new ones. sus's bike was chris's mom's and it was a cute 3 speed :). Anyway, they are trying to figure out where they can live and keep jobs at starbucks (the ones they worked at were less than a mile and right across the street from their house)(they worked at sep. ones). Anyway, keep them in your prayers. They have good friends and family helping them out!!! I thought it was a sign for them to move here... she didnt think so :(.

On another note... i am a few hours away from being done with the biggest craft project ever, but i can't talk about it b/c it is for someone (one of 5 people) that read my blog... you know who you are. and then i am going to see my friend odette to hang out with her and her babe. also, yesterday was my first day off orienttation in the ICU... I did not kill anyone, and things went really smoothly!!! It is just an awesome place to be and I love it!!! Also, my friend emily's bbq/colorado reception went very well. We ended up having to bring it to our house, b/c someone sent tornadic winds from oklahoma, and park gazebo was channeling the winds and all the things were flying away (which is the only time i was okay with littering, b/c if i left to run and get the trash flying away, all my other stuff at the table would have been after it). Anyway, i will post those pics later. but it was awesome and matt and emo brought their homemade beer keg!!!!! Anyway, off to craft!! more posts later!

a list/pics i forgot i had

So, I was just sitting in the house, when I realized I couldn't find schnooze... keep in mind all our doors and windows are open b/c it's been so nice, also know that our screen door is pulled away from the metal part of the door so it acts as a doggy door if you will. I look outside to see if she's there, and this is what I see... I laugh for a few seconds (outloud), then get the camera and hope she stays up there long enough!!!! Oh, my dog is so funny, and before you look at the pic, when i came home from work yesterday, schnooze was so excited to see me, she jumped up on the chairs to the dining room table, then got on the table, tail all wagging like nothing was out of the ordinary. ALSO, once when cam and i lived in norman, we came home and she was on the kitchen table, eating candy out of the bowl... but what was so sad, is that we couldnt punish her b/c we were laughing so hard... :)

So, today i have been running errands all day. i went to bed at 945 last night, and woke up at 915 today, i guess i needed it! so i had to go to sams and the groc store ... i am throwing a colorado reception for the people in the post below. and it's a little cookout at the park, but there are about 15 people coming, and i want it to be nicer than a sandwich picnic thing, so we're doing hamb and hotdogs, and i got them a cute little cake and there will be cute decorations in her colors blue and brown! then i have to brainstorm and come up with this covenant/explanation/mission statement thing for our fellowship group on sunday nights, then i need to hurry up and finish my season 6 csi's to return to the library, so i can watch my season 1 girls next door. i know i know. anyways, while i do that, i am rapidly coming to an end on my cousin's baby axle's baby present, she's due in nov, but i don't trust that crap, look her up on the right hand side under schats. So, i must go, but enjoy the gorgeous day!!!

my friend Emo

Saturday Sept 15th my friends Matt and Emily got married!!! In Maine!!!!

Cam and I couldn't go b/c we are too poor....

but emily sent me these pics to pretend like I was there.

Story behind the ring....

Matt and Em got engaged on their several month trip to New Zealand on the top of a mountain (the pics are amazing) but matt could only get a small band-like ring with a few small diamonds. So for her bday this year, he suprised her with this ring, a huge chunk of a diamond, and it was the best present ever!!!! PS: i have never seen emily's nails done...EVER!

So I am sitting here eating hummus, and it is 55 degrees outside!!!!

Wow!

Also, since we got rid of cable, i got netflix, but sometimes i can go thru 3-4 movies/documentaries in a day....

so.... i started today renting movies from the library!!! It's so awesome!

I have to watch movies right now, and not read, b/c i am in the middle of a project for my new second cousin!!!!

We are going hiking next weekend and getting to see out second season of leaves changing!!

I love this state!!!!

SATURDAY

Saturday, we met dad, maggie, and gram at 501 Cafe

for breakfast/lunch/dessert

Mom has this metal goose she dresses up for holidays, and she put

We ate dinner with mom and david and they had just gotten back from their

2 week camping trip!!! They went thru the smoky mountains to SC

then to GA FL then back home!

FRIDAY

Friday morning we woke up and met grandpa at the mall.

Every year he takes us shopping for birthday/christmas (oct 27/nov 13/christmas).

We get to pratty much go crazy and get whatever, and maybe we are spoiled,

but we have the time of our life...

in addition to getting to spend alone time with grandpa.

Sus and g-pa picked some trendy cute stuff out for me that i would never pick

out and it was cute!

Then we went to eat at Irma's burger shack!!!

Then grandpa is building a new house for himself, and we got to see

how it was coming along!

Susanne called when we were on our way, and said that sophie had called 9-1-1!!!

I guess sophie had sus's cell phone and was eating the keys. but before she gave her the phone, she locked the keys and said: "sophie.... don't call 9-1-1"

Then sus got a call on her cell "this is the okc police and we just got a call from this number...."

Holy cow! Sophie, you're grounded!

Then we went to Lauren and Brad's house for dinner!
